Novel places of the Àssua Valley

It is a very complete tour that goes into the Àssua Valley through the ancient bridle paths that linked the Batlliu and this valley with Catalonia. It is perfect to know the locality in its totality, since in this route you will be able to immerse yourself of the essence of Pallars Sobirà with its past agro-livestock, at the same time that you contemplate the mountain landscape. It is a stretch of 30 kilometers and notable difficulty but, without a doubt, it is very worthwhile. On this route, the views of Monteixo, the Montsent de Pallars and the Torreta de l’Orri will make you fall in love. In addition, you can refresh yourself in the Batlliu and Àssua fountains, and you can even observe some other wild fallow deer. Noguera Pallaresa and Àssua Valley

If you want to have an unforgettable memory, this trip will not leave you indifferent. From a different approach to the previous route, you will have the opportunity to tour the Noguera Pallaresa from above, as you will enter Rialp through the 19th century Santa Caterina suspension bridge. Also, you will visit the routes of the medieval castle of this little village and you will lose yourself among the history and the small picturesque streets of Surp, Altron and Olp. The distance that arises is around 18 kilometers and can be done during all seasons.

 

The dragon of Saverneda, Tornafort and the valley of Siarb

A road full of emotions. You will go through Savarneda, passing through the Soriguera ravine and learn more about the origins of the village of Puiforniu, from where you will reach Tornafort. You will also make a nice descent to return to Savarneda. The views of Montsent de Pallars will not leave you indifferent, and you will be able to hear and see black whistle.
