The track moves comfortably among a dense pine forest. We take an openness that makes the forest to look to our left (SW) Rubio village. This is the highest inhabited center of Catalonia, almost 1,700m high.In this town it is born a marked route that also goes by the track to the shelter for Rubió Comes. We reached a plateau that precedes the shelter. This is a very beautiful and peaceful area, a plain surrounded by alpine meadows and exceptional pine forest where black predominates. We continue the march towards NW in the same track we were coming.We left the shelter behind.
Soon we came to a intersection where you turn right (1: 33h – 1.960m). Follow the indication of the Rock Senyada (20 ‘) and the Lake of Davall (50’) of the route “Volta a les Comes de Rubió” Natural Park of the High Pyrenees.We reach a crossroads.

We reached a point where the forest opens completely and gives way to a large meadow. We are in the Col de Rubio (1: 45h – 2.014m). We leave the marked route that goes to the Rock and the Lake of Senyada Davall, and take in the direction S, the wide dirt road that leads to the Pla Muntaner through the entire ridge of the Serra Seca.Walking through the Serra Seca.

After awhile to advance the track surrounded by woods on both sides, we leave to our left a track (2: 05h – 2.013m) leading down to the eastern slope of the Serra Seca. We continue advancing along the track we were coming.We leave a trail back to the left and continue towards the Pla Muntaner.
After doing some small rise and a fall, the track turns slightly to the right, heading southwest. We leave to our left the Tossal de l’Eagle, a modest peak of 2.157m totally forested. We climb a few meters and reached the bucolic Pla Muntaner (2: 30h – 2.052m).Coming from the side or the Tossal de l’Aguila (2.157m).
