DESCRIPTION OF THE ROUTE
We start the route in the Hotel Restaurant Les Brases in Sort (0: 00h - 700m), which is located just outside the town (N), on the same road.
Views of the river Noguera Pallaresa in front of the hotel Les Brases
We follow Les Brases on the left and we are in the street behind the hotel (and that is parallel to the road). We start on this street, to the right up, towards N, until we find a street that goes to our left on the way up and we reach the street parallel to the road where we go.
Turn left onto a uphill road. We climbed about 50m along this street and immediately we see on the right the road that goes in the direction of Olp. If we are attentive, we see several signs that indicate us.
Turn right: it is the road that goes up to Olp. At this point the signage is a bit diffused, but in general the itinerary is well signposted at all times. However, the signage along the route is heterogeneous: in the most important deviations we will find signs of the Generalitat de Catalunya and of the Natural Path of Sort and the Ássua Valley; And along the route we will also find yellow signs - circular metal plates or circles of paint - that mark precisely the itinerary for the Batlliu of Sort.
Yellow circle that is painted on a dry stone wall.
Circular metal plate of yellow color. We advance along a path that is gaining height little by little. We passed a cattle fence and left a farm on the right. Throughout the route we will find protections and fences of all kinds for livestock. Livestock is one of the traditional activities of the Batlliu area and the roads that we will continue to use are still used to move herds and access the meadows of pasture.
We started to gain height.
Farm left behind on the right.
Dry stone walls define the way.
Take the detour to Olp.
Short section per paved track.
Lilies (Iris xiphioides).
We follow Olp.
Here we can enjoy incredible views.
We see Olp's first houses on the left.

We arrive at the core of Olp. In the background, elevated houses belonging to the neighborhood of the Force.

We make about 50m along the road and take a dirt road (left) again.
Views of the Pujalt core on the other side of the ravine. The road descends a few meters to the pasture meadows at the bottom of the ravine. We make a few meters by the side of a stream that soon we leave behind. We regain altitude directly towards Pujalt.
We take the Enviny road (we leave the asphalted road).
Path stretch.Follow the signs and continue along the path of the left.
Track of dirt track. We arrive at a point where we open the whole perspective on the Montardit valley. The trees give way to a more arid area, with shrubs, bushes and meadows of grass. We are advancing along a path that flanks the mountain.
