The winter resorts in the Catalan Pyrenees will be open during Easter, although Vallter 2000, Espot Esquí, and Vall de Núria will remain closed on the weekdays leading up to the holidays.
The FGC Group's resorts are entering the final stretch of the season with plenty of snow on the slopes and also with schedule changes. With the snowfall of recent days, snow is expected to arrive by Easter and the resorts are expected to close by the end of April.
To promote resort awareness among FGC Group customers, the 5.0 season pass will be valid at all resorts, including La Molina, from April 1st until the resort closes. To ski at La Molina, the 5.0 season pass must be presented at the resort offices to exchange it for a day pass.
At La Molina resort, the gondola lift and the Pista L'Arga and Cap de Comella chairlifts will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, starting March 31st. The rest of the lifts will be open until 3:00 p.m. The slopes are expected to be open weather permitting.
The Port Ainé resort will be open during the week, with only the Roni chairlift closed, which affects one run. Therefore, from March 31 to April 4 and from April 7 to April 11, the resort will remain open with special rates. On weekends and holidays, the entire resort will be open at regular rates, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
At Vallter 2000, the opening hours are as follows: the resort will be closed from Monday, March 31st to Friday, April 4th and will be open the weekend of April 5th and 6th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The following week, from Monday, April 7th to Friday, April 11th, it will also be closed. Vallter resort will be open all holidays, from Saturday, April 12th to Monday, April 21st, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The season at Vallter 2000 resort closes on Tuesday, April 22nd.
The Vall de Núria resort operates similar hours to those of the Vallter 2000 resort. From Monday, March 31 to Friday, April 4, and from Monday, April 7 to Friday, April 11, the ski slopes will be closed, but the recreational park facilities will be open. On the weekends of April 5 and 6 and from April 12 to 21, the resort will be open, weather permitting, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and the reduced rate will apply. The season closes at Vall de Núria on Monday, April 21.
The Espot Esquí resort will be closed from Monday, March 31 to Friday, April 4, and from Monday, April 7 to Friday, April 11. On weekends and during Easter, 100% of the ski area will be open, weather permitting, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
