In Sort, you'll find a packed agenda of activities for the whole family to celebrate this holiday.
Among the events planned in Sort are sheep shearing with scissors , an exhibition to introduce the public to this ancient craft; and the San Juan fair of artisan and agricultural products . Bonfires are also lit to ward off evil spirits and make wishes for good omens.

Thirty minutes from Sort, you can enjoy this ceremony, which attracts thousands of visitors each year and pays homage to fire by lowering burning logs from the mountain to the center of the town.
With the participation of generations of adults and children, the fallaires carry the fallas down the mountain to create a large bonfire in the town square, where traditional dances are later performed.
Alins Fallas
The descent of the fallas of Alins on the day of the San Juan festival was revived almost 30 years ago, after a period when it had been abandoned. Fortunately, today this tradition has taken root more strongly than ever.
