January features live Nativity scenes, Three Kings' Parades, and festivals dedicated to Saint Anthony and Saint Sebastian, while ski resorts host snow-themed competitions.
Several towns organize live Nativity scenes, and on the afternoon of the 5th, the Three Kings' Parade will delight children. In addition, several municipalities organize Christmas parks so children can enjoy a variety of activities during the Christmas holidays.
Once the Three Kings' Day has passed, the San Antonio festivities will begin in several towns, some of which will celebrate the Tres Tombs. Around San Sebastián, festivities will be held in other towns.
The Lleida region also has a packed calendar of sporting events, especially snow competitions. Highlights include the "La Patufet" Nordic ski race in Sant Joan de l'Erm, the Floquet de Neu Trophy in Espot Esquí, and the Intercopos Trophy in Baqueira Beret.
