One of the most famous routes in the area is the Route of the Sanctuaries, a very easy and simple route that is very enjoyable, a perfect route to do with the whole family.
The trail lasts approximately one and a half hours and runs from Gerri de la Sal to Baro, with a slight gradient of approximately 150 meters. Along the way, you'll see places of special interest such as the Monastery of Santa María, the Hermitage of the Virgen del Árbol, the Casa de la Sal, the walled town, and the Romanesque bridge.
Another of the most popular trails in the area is the Enchanted Forest Walk, a tour that lasts approximately three hours in total. This route is divided into two parts: from Peramea to Balestiu (50 minutes) and from Balestiu to Borda de Cossant (2 hours). The first is very flat and easy, while the second is slightly steeper but not particularly difficult to complete.
The maximum elevation gain is 350 meters. Along the way, you'll enjoy truly stunning panoramic views and beautiful vegetation, a route where you can admire monuments such as the Colomers Tower, the Church of Sant Cristofol, and the Castell Rock.
