The deadline for entries is February 28. The contest is part of the promotional campaign for the 2013/14 winter season in the Pyrenees and the Lands of Lleida.
The photography contest is being held on social media such as Twitter and Instagram and is open to anyone who loves snow and wants to share their experiences, emotions, and the various activities available in the snowy landscape of the Lleida Pyrenees.
Participants (over 18 years old) can take one or more photographs of their snowy experience in the Lleida region and upload them to Twitter (@aralleida, @aralleida_es) or Instagram until February 28, 2014, using the hashtags #aralleidaneu and #aralleidanieve. This image, which will include the name of the person who submitted it, must be accompanied by a brief comment about the emotion at the moment the photo was taken.
The winner will be announced on March 10, 2014, via the competition platforms (Twitter @aralleida, @aralleida_es and www.aralleida.cat/concursneu, www.aralleida.com/concursonieve) by the Tourism Board jury.
All information about participating in the contest, as well as the images that will be published on the social platform Twitter, can be found on the Aralleida website and other social platforms (Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Flickr, etc.).
The prize consists of a full-board weekend for two people at a location in the Lleida region, with a leisure activity and a wellness program.
With the "Where Snow Is More Than Snow" campaign, the Board of Trustees aims to promote the alpine and Nordic skiing offered by the 11 winter resorts in the Lleida Pyrenees, as well as to raise awareness about snow tourism and après-ski, along with the wide and varied tourist offerings that visitors can enjoy throughout the Lleida region during the winter season, which go beyond the practice of snow sports.
