ROUTE FROM SORT
GERRI DE LA SAL BY ESTAC, MENCUI I PERAMEA
A 33-km linear route (one way) that allows us to discover the charming villages of the southern part of the Pallars Sobirà region along paths steeped in history, with dry stone edges and cobbled sections. The route we propose begins in Sort and runs along the slopes of Llarvén and Estac mountains, passing through the towns of Bressui, Enviny, Montardit de Dalt, Escàs, Mencui, Balestui, and Peramea, and finally ending in Gerri de la Sal. This is a physically demanding hike—due to the high distance and elevation gain—and is only recommended for hikers accustomed to long-distance trails.
This linear route from Sort to Gerri takes us into the mountainous landscape of the southern Pallars Sobirà region, in a transition zone between the Pre-Pyrenees and the Pyrenees. We walk through Scots pine and holm oak forests, along paths that once linked the scattered areas of the mountainous slopes of the Noguera Pallaresa River valley.

• The sensational views we have during the excursion of the Noguera Pallaresa River Valley and the small scattered villages.
• Let yourself be seduced by the tranquility and charm of this magical corner of the Pyrenees.
