PLA DE BOAVI EXCURSION

A very easy and beautiful hike.

 

The Pla de Boavi is a perfect place to rest for a while and relax with the beauty of the landscape. In this place, surrounded by large mountains, there are several streams that end up forming part of the river Noguera de Cardós. At the end of this valley we find the Pont de Boavi, which marks the end of this plain.

 

In Tavascan (Pallars Sobirà) we leave the village following the signs to Certascan. For approximately 7 km we continue along a forest track, accessible to a car, until we reach the Montalto dam where we leave the car and continue on foot along the track on the right. The route to the Pla de Boavi is very flat.
