BEAR MUSEUM

The Pyrenean Bear House is an interpretation center located in Isil (Pallars Sobirà) that offers insights into the brown bear and its life in the Catalan Pyrenees. Situated in the Casa Sastre in Isil, it has become the first interpretation center dedicated to this animal in Catalonia. The house maintains its original structure while incorporating an innovative exhibition space.

The center offers an exhibition with interactive modules that explain various aspects of bear life in the Pyrenees, their relationship with humans, and conservation efforts. This information can be complemented by guided tours that depart from the center itself, allowing visitors to experience the animals' habitat firsthand. In addition, the center organizes temporary exhibitions related to the region, screens documentaries in its mini-cinema, and has a shop selling products related to the Pyrenean bear.
