House of the Bear of the Pyrenees.
This interpretation center, located in Isil (Pallars Sobirà), offers a glimpse into the brown bear and its life in the Catalan Pyrenees. Located in Casa Sastre in Isil, it has become the first interpretation center for this animal in Catalonia. The house has preserved its original structure, and a highly innovative advertising space has also been created.
We'll find an exhibition with interactive modules that explain various aspects of bear life in the Pyrenees, their relationship with people, and conservation efforts. This exhibition information can be complemented with guided tours, starting at the center itself, that will allow visitors to learn about these animals' habitat. The center also hosts temporary exhibitions directly related to the area, offers documentary screenings in the mini-cinema about the Pyrenean bear, and also has a shop selling products related to the Pyrenean bear.
