SAURI CHURCH
Saurí is an idyllic village located at the bottom of the Àssua valley, on the bank of the Pamano ravine, where Mustio's family had spent their summers in the late 60s. Today it is estimated that 12 people live there.
On the altar, religious sculptures coexist with a large red flower that recalls the origin of life. Mustio has named it "the flower of Zahorí." "The walls speak of the place where the church is located. Of the people here, of nature, of the animals, of beauty. I have tried to create an optimistic church, so that people feel comfortable, without imposing anything or indoctrinating them. I hope that what I painted will disappear and become an essence that uplifts people," says the artist.
