SHEPHERDS MUSEUM

The Àssua Valley Shepherds' Museum, after a short presentation about the valley's characteristics (the shepherds and the sheep), explains in detail the different tasks the shepherds must perform throughout the year. The museum's sponsors intend for it to become more than just an exhibition of objects and information panels, but rather a dynamic project for the village of Llessui and the entire valley.

The aim is to turn the center into a kind of theme park that pays close attention to the way shepherds worked and lived years ago, but without forgetting the recent developments and the changes brought about by new technologies: satellite tracking devices, mobile telephony, mechanized shearing, etc.
