SHEPHERDS MUSEUM
The Shepherds' Museum of the Àssua Valley offers, after a brief introduction to the valley and the lives of shepherds and sheep, a detailed explanation of the various tasks shepherds perform throughout the year. The museum's founders envision it as more than just an exhibition hall with objects and information panels; they envision it as a dynamic project that will revitalize the village of Llessui and the entire valley.
The center is conceived as a space that recalls the way shepherds of yesteryear worked and lived, without forgetting the recent evolution and changes brought about by new technologies: satellite location, mobile telephony, mechanized shearing, among others.
